The maximum amount of time, in months, that the system waits before exporting audit log records from the database into a CSV file and removing them from the database.

• For hosting plans, it may be additional disk space, traffic or other resource of the corresponding hosting panel.
• For non-hosting plans, it may be any other resource or service, for example, SSL certificate.

The most commonly used plan types for shared hosting business are:

• Hosting Plan - use for providing hosting services on Plesk or another hosting panel.
• Domain Name Registration Plan - sell domain names from any of numerous domain registrars supported.
• SSL Certificate Plan - sell certificates from eNom (new).
• SSLfactory - sell certificates offered by SSLfactory (legacy, stable).

The plans of these types are provisioned to hosting control panels. Other types are generic and may be used for custom needs.

Plan properties define resources, services and privileges granted to a subscriber account on a related hosting panel. If you use Plesk, set the Unlimited value for a property by typing in '-1'.

During the ordering process in online stores, the system can ask customers additional information that affect the resulting subscription or customer profile. Here you are able to write questions that the system will ask, set up available answers to these questions, and define the answer-dependant properties that will be added either as subscription properties (if you add a plan property), a customer account property (for customer properties), or an add-on property (if you add a generic property and configure a plan add-on to use it).

Property Sanity: A property should be assigned to a question unless it is only referred to in a Value Map. Value Maps are optional, for dealing with multiple answers to multi-option questions.

Select plans to which the coupon is applicable.
The coupon is available only for these
plans and only in the selected stores.

This operation activates the related subscription. The subscriber then is able to use the services and resources without paying for it. To forbid access to the subscription, suspend it manually.

Additionally, the operation voids the invoice, creates a new transaction for a negative amount equal to the invoice amount, and removes all authorization-only transactions that have not been captured.

Billing cycle is a period between two subscription renewal dates. To display a plan billing cycle in an online store, set pricing for this cycle.

Note: For domain name registration plans, billing cycles must be longer then minimum registration period defined in TLD.

To prevent database corruption during re-encryption, we highly recommend to back up the {$TRANS_PLESK_BILLING} database before submitting changes.

In addition, as modification of billing account details can also corrupt the database during re-encryption, you should forbid your customers to add and edit their billing accounts before the re-encryption is completed.

Events are scheduled tasks that the system runs in sequence. These tasks comprise domain names registration and renewal, hosting subscriptions provisioning, accounts suspension and activation, generation of invoices, and processing of credit cards.

Events are automatically created in the event queue. The system periodically checks up this queue and runs scheduled events. You can configure the queue to include or exclude certain events. For example, you can turn off invoices generation and do it manually to gain control over the invoicing routine.

When the system runs an event, it extracts the description of a task to perfrom from the MBAPI packet bound to the event. You can view or edit the packet to update the task properties. Additionally, if you encounter an error on an event run, you are able to view the response packet to diagnose the error reason. The system also provides means to re-run an event or set it ready to run upon the next queue checkup. These operations are available from the menu that opens when clicking the arrow icon next to event ID.

16. Once you are in the OTE extranet, repeat steps 7 through 13 with the OTE password as the current password, and your live system password as the API password.

18. Check the box at the bottom of the page and click Apply.
19. Check that your Wild West Domains account details are the same as the ones you provided when configuring the registrar module in {$TRANS_PLESK_BILLING}.

Number of days from an invoice generation to the invoice due date.

Here you can adjust the presentation of printable invoices. It is possible to change invoice style and formatting, modify heading labels, or add custom text. In addition, if you send invoices in windowed envelopes, you have the option to modify the address block position to fit the window size.

Printable invoices are written in language defined in the admin user profile.

Welcome to the Migration Manager. {$TRANS_PLESK_BILLING} has a multi-system migration manager designed to migrate customer information from any system into {$TRANS_PLESK_BILLING}. The migration manager is capable of migrating customers incrementally and decrementally, meaning that you can go forwards and backwards in the process, browsing other parts of the system at any point. The migration manager is also capable of keeping external references to internal configuration, most likely customers, subscriptions, and perhaps invoices. These references may be kept even after the migration is complete, and may be used by the system to link to outside systems for archival purposes.

In order to properly deal with migrations from many systems, the migration manager does not create corresponding configuration from each system since configuration will likely overlap. In order to allow configuration consolidation, the migration manager needs to have corresponding kinds of configuration associated between the systems. For example, plans and modules in one system need to be associated with the corresponding plans and modules in this system. Many of the same kind of configuration in the external system may be associated with one of the same kind in this system.

Currently, it supports ModernBill version 4.4 and WHMCS migration, including invoices.

Before you can start a migration, you need the following configured in {$TRANS_PLESK_BILLING}, which correspond to ModernBill Version 4.4:

• Plans
• Panels
• Registrars

At least for now, you must have your ModernBill version 4.4 or WHMCS database in UTF-8 encoding.

Warning: Cycles must be associated with a plan before editing prices for the cycles. Also, domain plans need to have cycles in the cycle range specified by the TLD.

Warning: Add the plan to at least one online store to determine which currency to use with this plan.

To create your own theme, do the following:

1. Download one of the existing themes from the themes directory on your server.
2. Create your own style by editing the style files of the theme.
3. Specify the theme name, description, and theme icon file name in file config.ini (located in the theme root).
4. Upload the new theme back to the themes directory.

The themes directory path is

• (On Linux) /opt/plesk-billing/store/htdocs/themes/
• (On Windows) %plesk_dir%\billing\store\htdocs\\themes\

Note that the directory name of your theme should be the same as the 'code' parameter in config.ini, and this name must not contain dots.

An online store is a website where visitors can see your service plans and purchase them. Such websites are automatically generated by Business Manager basing on store settings you choose and plans you associate with a store. The store settings cover different aspects of order placement (payment methods, invoicing, taxation, and so on), and you can change them on this page to meet your business needs.

Additionally, you are able to let potential customers complete the first step of the subscription right from one of your web pages. To achieve this, create a website widget (a code snippet for integration) and add it into pages of your liking.

To let customers subscribe to a plan, add it to at least one online store. The plan will be visible after you activate it and set its pricing. To activate a plan, go to Details and set the Is Active option to Yes. To set the plan pricing, go to the Prices tab.

Set price for each combination of billing cycles and currencies you would like to appear in online stores.

To be able to set up pricing, you should perform the following operations:

• Add this plan to at least one online store to determine currencies for localized pricing.
• Associate at least one billing cycle with this plan.

You can optionally create price groups to offer one plan in several different configurations and prices.

Example: If you have different pricing for the same hosting plan on servers located in different geographic regions, create the 'Hosting' group, add two price options, say, 'Europe' and 'USA', and set custom pricing for each.

If you select an automatically applied coupon, the system will apply it to each new subscription. If you associate coupons with this plan, customers will be able to apply them when subscribing to this plan.

Once you have created your plan, walk through the following mandatory steps to configure it.

1. Click Online Stores to select where this plan will be displayed. Click Save.
2. Click Billing Cycles to set up time periods between two invoice dates. Click Save.
3. Set up the services and resources provided with the plan:
   • For hosting plans, configure panel groups and then Properties. Click Save.
   • For SSL certificate plans, specify SSL Provider. Click Save.

This basic set of configurable items is enough for the majority of plans. In general, to configure plan settings, click the items next to Details, one by one, from left to right. Price groups are designed to handle variations in plans pricing. For example, if you have a domain name registration plan, the system will automatically create the TLD pricing group to include price options corresponding to each domain name extention you offer. In turn, a pricing option has its own pricing for each billing cycle. You are able to deactivate a pricing option which will hide the corresponding pricing in online stores.

Currently, the system automatically creates price groups only for domain name registration plans. For other plan types, the system creates a price option corresponding to each plan and adds this option to the 'Itself' price group.

You can manually add a group and assign price options to it. For example, if you have different pricing for the same service plan on servers located in different geographic regions, you can create the 'Hosting' group, add two price options, say, 'Europe' and 'USA', and define pricing for each.

VAT verification applies only to commercial companies from the European Union. If selected, the system verifies the validity of VAT numbers entered by the companies. If a customer is an individual, they can either specify a VAT number or not. If they did and this option is selected, the VAT number is verified as well.
