This chapter describes how to install the Remote Admin for SiteBuilder 2 Module on the server where Plesk is installed.
For normal operation of the module, your server must meet the following hardware and software requirements:
You can install module using one of the two methods:
To install the module from the Plesk control panel:
.rpm or .sh extensions.Note: For some operating systems, the package can have other extensions, for example, .deb for Debian OS.
To install the module from the command line:
To run installation from the .sh package:
To install from the .rpm package:
.rpm package using the rpm - Uhv *.rpm command.To install from the .deb package (for Debian OS):
.deb package using the dpkg - i *.deb commandDuring installation, the application searches for a local SiteBuilder installation and if it finds the SiteBuilder application on the same server as Plesk, it automatically modifies the DNS record to sitebuilder.hostname, where hostname is the full name of your host.
If a local SiteBuilder instance is found on the same server, the module will connect to it automatically and you will not have to manually type the local SiteBuilder address to log in to the application.
After installation, the module adds its tables to the Plesk database. Advanced can check that these tables have been created. The following tables are added:
